Koi pond

The De Wet brand was born in 1984 when Andy de Wet MSc, started building ponds using real rock and concrete.The development of our product evolved over several years of trial and error with careful consideration being given to design, construction, aesthetics and practical features such as filtration and durability. The circulation and filtration is done as if Koi fish will be kept in them ensuring crystal clear water. This has put De Wet Nature Pools in the position where it can safely state that our installations are attractive, complimenting many different settings, durable and easily maintained.

De Wet Nature Pools combine the normal trusted construction methods of conventional pools with the intricate aesthetic compilation of natural rocks and plants that have become our trade mark. This combination is done in such a way that the Nature Pools look like a snippet of nature with the allure of running water, combined with the strong natural rock features with evergreen foliage.  Yet our pools can be maintained easily with all conventional pool cleaning methods.

This division is overseen by Andy de Wet and headed by James Ngobeni. Each project is done with a team of highly experienced installers supervised by a chief builder who takes the installation to completion. Our projects add aesthetical and monetary value to every site and being so visual, create an amazing atmosphere. 
 

De Wet Ponds are constructed using conventional building methods to ensure durability. This combined with rugged yet simplistic plumbing ensures highly effective circulation and filtration as well as clean water and easy maintenance. Even our smaller ponds are designed on Koi keeping standards.

De Wet combines all of this with amazing natural layouts using natural rock in different ways ensuring pleasing natural features with a beautiful  combination of water, rock and evergreen foliage. Installations are done mainly in the Gauteng area in South Africa and our consultants will meet you on site for a free quotation.
